Collaboration and Community
The future of business depends on public lands and healthy landscapes
Partnerships Protect Montana’s Public Lands
Lower Yellowstone River Coalition
The Lower Yellowstone River Coalition came together around a shared goal: working toward new investments in public access, recreational infrastructure, and wildlife habitat along almost 200 miles of the lower Yellowstone River. Since 2019, we’ve earned the support of dozens of local government officials, businesses, and individuals who all believe in a strong future for eastern Montana. New public lands and improved access along the lower Yellowstone could support 56 new jobs and have a total economic impact of $7 million annually.
Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Act
Montanans have worked together to create a lasting solution for public lands in the Blackfoot River watershed. The Blackfoot Clearwater Stewardship Act will preserve the Blackfoot River by permanently protecting its most important tributaries. It will also secure and expand outdoor recreation opportunities in the Blackfoot and Clearwater Valleys, as well as enhance timber production and forest restoration in and around Seeley Lake.
Gallatin Forest Partnership
The Gallatin and Madison ranges are some of the wildest places left in the continental United States. Nearby communities are experiencing rapid population growth thanks to a robust economy and a desire to live near our public lands. More people enjoying the Gallatin and Madison ranges means we need to act quickly to ensure these lands stay healthy for generations to come, which in turn will keep our communities and economy healthy.
